Our cattle are raised to be functional, producing animals. A healthy, functional animal is needed to produce great beef. The beef we sell comes from bulls, not steers, and it gives them the natural leanness that consumers are searching for. These are purebred Angus cattle which produce the exceptional marbling responsible for the juiciness and tenderness in the meat.

We started selling Aspen Hill Natural Beef in1999, supplying it to a small group friends and relatives. A number of these people had completely stopped eating beef because they were fed up with the lack of consistency in the grocery store and because of the hormone and antibiotic use in the cattle feedlots. Once they had tried our beef, they were so happy with it that they began telling more friends and our customer base has grown dramatically from there. Because of such positive feedback on our beef, we have decided to offer it on a much larger scale, and give you an opportunity to get in on some of the best beef you will ever eat. The animals we process all under 18 months of age which insures the best possibility for tenderness. Our beef is allowed to grow naturally. They have ample room to roam and exercise and are finished with locally grown oats and alfalfa hay for that extra flavour.

We have our beef processed by a local abattoir where they insure that your order is carefully aged and flash frozen with complete confidence it is the very best it can be. Since we are in the purebred angus seed stock business, all of our animals are DNA identifiable, so you can be sure you are getting Aspen Hill Beef and only Aspen Hill Beef.
